Overview

Eastside Community Ministry is an ecumenical ministry led by an independent board of directors. We are funded by the United Way of Muskingum, Perry and Morgan Counties, various religious denominations, churches, civic groups and individuals.

Our volunteers do a variety of tasks including clerical work, tutoring, cooking meals, stocking the food pantry, sorting clothes, maintenance work, answering phones, fund raising, and leading youth activities. Thanks to the service of the dedicated individuals and the hard work of our staff members, over 84% of our expenses are continually dedicated to helping needy
families and children while less than 16% is spent on
administration and fundraising.
