Executive Director

Rev. Bob Davidson has been with Eastside Community Ministry since 2000, beginning as the Education Coordinator for the Youth Program. In the fall of 2004, he was appointed Director of Programs and became the Executive Director in 2005.

He is a 1976 graduate of The King's College (NY) BS and received his M.Div. from the Alliance Theological Seminary in 1989. Bob served as Pastor of Youth and Christian Education for 10 years before coming to Eastside.

Bob is married to Joan, his wife of 31 years. They have four children ages 10-25.

 

Youth Director

Joey Pennybaker Osborn graduated with honors from Philo High School and went on to obtain a Bachelor's Degree in Psychology from Denison University.  Upon graduating from Denison, she moved back to Zanesville, her hometown.  Joey finished her Master's Degree in Early Childhood Education at Muskingum College in 2007.

Joey is active in Zane Trace Players Theatre, Muskingum County Community Foundation Council, Pro-Muskingum Full Council, Muskingum Family Y's Women of Achievement Committee, Faith United Methodist Church, and the Muskingum County 4-H Committee.  Joey and her husband, Sam, own and operate The Java House, our only locally owned coffee shop in Zanesville.  Currently they are restoring a home in the Historic Putnam District.

 

Life SkillS Coordinator

Shannon Harlan is a 1996 graduate of Maysville High School and graduated in 2001 from Muskingum Area Technical College with her Associate Degree in Social Work. Shannon has been with Eastside Community Ministry since Spring, 2005. Prior to coming to Eastside, she was a preschool teacher for 3 ½ years at a local preschool. Shannon volunteers with various projects within the community including, Y-City Idol, Lace Up for Kids, Solid Gold Jazz and Rib Fest, Taste of Color, as well as at Grace Wesleyan Church that she has been attending for 27 years.

Shannon lives in Zanesville with Kayla, her mother Sharon, and brother Shaun. She also has a brother, Shane who is based at Ft. Drum, NY with the U.S. Army.

 

Tricia Dickson

Tricia graduated from Philo High School in 1997 and received a Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education from Ohio University. Tricia furthered her education in the area of Reading and is also a Reading and Study Skills Instructor at Zane State College.  Tricia is active in Big Brothers/Big Sisters of Muskingum County and supports early literacy and social skill development as a Jumpstart AmeriCorps Member.

 

Shaun Harlan

Shaun is a 2003 graduate of Maysville High School and is a student at Zane State College, majoring in Medical Assisting. Shaun has been a volunteer with the youth program before he joined our staff in September 2006.

 

Pantry Manager/Receptionist

Kathy Moyer began at Eastside as a WEP worker in 1998, and became a staff member in 1999 and has been at Eastside since, serving as the Food Pantry Manager and Receptionist. She is also member of the Hunger Network of Muskingum County. She has two grown children and two at home and five grandchildren.

 

Clothing Bank Manager

Mary Church has been with Eastside for more than 30 years, starting in the clothing bank as a volunteer with her mother. Over the years she has served as a volunteer representative on the board of ECM and in 2000 became the Clothing Bank Manager.

 

Maintenance Supervisor

Joe Barclay has been with Eastside for many years as a board member and volunteer. He joined the staff in 2005 following 12 years as Customer Returns Coordinator at Longaberger. Joe and his wife Donna live in Zanesville and have two grown children.
