The 2026 Lace Up campaign officially kicks off on Wednesday, July 2nd with distribution of shoes and clothing on Saturday, August 1st at the “Head to Toe, Ready to Go” event (by appointment) at Zanesville City Schools.
Applications will be accepted in person ONLY from July 6 – July 9. If you need assistance, please call 740-452-7519 and ask for Jamie or Ashley.
We are excited to be able to provide the “Back to School” Clothing project again this year! Each child that receives a new pair of shoes will also receive a new outfit and underwear. We would like to thank the Colony Square Mall, J.W. & M.H. Straker Charitable Foundation, CareSource Foundation, Park National Bank, Fellers Foundation, and St. Johns Lutheran Church for partnering with us on this project!
A Health Fair will be held during the event featuring activities, information, and lots of FUN!
YOU can help make a difference in a child’s life. Donate a new pair of sneakers and/or clothing/underwear (all Pre-K-12 sizes are needed). You may drop off your donations at Eastside’s Essentials, Monday – Thursday from 9AM-NOON & 1PM-3PM and Saturdays 10am-Noon or at the Colony Square Mall at one of the following locations: JCPenney or The 146.

Imagine over 34,000 pairs of sneakers in all sizes and colors. That’s the number of shoes Lace Up for Kids has provided to area kids in the past 36 years. Again, this year Wendy’s, WHIZ Media Group, and ECM are partnering to help area kids start the school year off on the right foot.
