The 2024 Lace Up campaign officially kicks off on Monday, July 1st, with distribution of shoes Tuesday, August 6th (by appointment) at the Secrest Auditorium.
We are excited to be able to provide the “Back to School” Clothing project again this year! Each child that receives a new pair of shoes will also receive a new outfit and underwear. We would like to thank the Colony Square Mall & J.W. & M.H. Straker Charitable Foundation for partnering with us on this project!
Each child who receives shoes will also receive a brand-new outfit and underwear and a Health Fair will be held during the event featuring free haircuts and more!
Applications will be accepted at Eastside Community Ministry, 221 Stillwell Street, Zanesville:
Monday, July 8 thru Thursday, July 11 from 9am-4pm for Muskingum County students in pre-K – 12th grade.

Imagine over 33,000 pairs of sneakers in all sizes and colors. That’s the number of shoes Lace Up for Kids has provided to area kids in the past 35 years. Again, this year Wendy’s, WHIZ Media Group, and ECM are partnering to help area kids start the school year off on the right foot.
