The Tools for School program assist low-income children in Kindergarten – 12th grades in Muskingum County School District begin the year on a positive note by providing each one of them with a backpack filled with the supplies for his/her school and grade. To meet this goal, we are asking for your help in collecting supplies and packing backpacks. This is a wonderful project for churches, organizations, businesses, and anyone interested in helping young people in our community.
Monetary donations are gladly accepted. The cost of a backpack full of supplies is estimated to cost $50. Please make checks payable to ECM and mark it “Tools for School.”
Supplies will be packed July 28th & 29th and Distributed on Saturday, August 1st at the “Head to Toe, Ready to Go” event. Individuals and groups interested in helping may call Tools for School Committee Member, Barb Zirke at 740-454-7675 (leave a message) or the ECM office at 740-452-7519
