Produce Market

MUST pre-register each month. Registration will open the 1st business day of each month. You may register by calling 211 or visiting Freshtrak.com.

Please make sure you are registering for the Eastside Community Ministry Produce Market. The produce is donated by Mid-Ohio Foodbank, coordinated by Eastside Community Ministry, and hosted at the First Baptist Church, 80 E Main Street, South Zanesville, OH. Once you have completed the registration you will received a pick up time between 9am-11am. Pick up is NOT at Eastside. It is at the First Baptist Church in South Zanesville.

Lace Up For Kids

Some 1000 students start the new school year with brand new shoes. With the help of information on the application form with regard to ages and sizes, volunteer shoppers make sure every student has a choice of styles when they come in to be fitted in August.

EmPOWER Hour For Women

A group of women who meet to lift each other up-inspire-learn-teach-laugh-cry-enjoy lunch-and give back! Meet every Wednesday at 12pm. In collaboration with Muskingum Behavioral Health.

Community Garden

Eastside’s Community Garden has 24 raised beds, fruit trees, flowers, and berry bushes. Residents from the community are invited to sign-up for a raised bed and grow their own fruits, vegetables, and flowers.

Thanksgiving Baskets

Eastside assists 100 families each year with a Thanksgiving basket, that otherwise would not be able to provide a Thanksgiving dinner.

Tools For School

Around 1,000 students who attend a school in the Muskingum County School District can begin the school year with the necessary tools. Backpacks are filled with supplies tailored to each child’s school, grade and teacher requirements. Supplies are distributed in August, with applications available in July.
